The ceramic stools/tables designed by Alessandro Mendini epitomise the collaboration between the renowned designer and the company.
Rocchetto is an iconic product, born of the creative flair of Mendini, who described it in these terms: «Ceramics as used by Flaminia is a strong and very beautiful material that conveys a pleasant feeling of fullness to the touch. The compact shape of these stools in the form of a spool is also designed to get across this creamy effect, and the same applies to the choice of colours and decor. The spool is generated by a central cylinder ending in two half-spheres, a classic, elementary and symmetrical shape, projecting a stable and safe image. I wanted to create a small, multi-use furnishing accessory, neutral but also symbolic in the sense of coming across as a “friendly object”»
