Shipping

Shipping

We ship free of charge, by express courier, to destinations in Italy and Europe. Our shipments are handled by GLS within Italy and by DHL for destinations abroad. 

TIMEFRAMES

For standard locations it takes 3 working days from dispatch to delivery. These timeframes may be extended by 24/48 working hours for deliveries to islands or disadvantaged areas.

PRICES

No shipping costs are charged except for the locations considered “extra charge zones” (in Italy: Sicily, Sardinia, Calabria) or “hardship zones” by the couriers. 
For such zones, the shipping cost is € 60 + VAT (where applicable) and this amount is indicated in the check-out area, prior to confirming and sending the order. 

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY METHODS

When the goods leave our warehouses and are entrusted to the carrier, we send an email to the Customer, to the email address provided at the time of the order, to inform them of the shipment. In the following 24 hours, the Customer will receive another email directly from the courier with a tracking number with which they can monitor the progress of the shipment. 
Deliveries are made to the address entered when placing the order. If the address where you want the goods to be delivered is different from the billing address included in your order, you can specify a shipping address. In the "notes" field you can enter any additional information you consider useful for delivery, e.g., different names on the intercom; Limited Traffic Zone; etc. 
The deliveries are made between 8:30am and 6:00pm Monday to Friday. Deliveries are not made on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. 
Goods are delivered at street level and cannot be arranged by appointment.

GOODS INSURANCE

Our goods travel insured. This means that the Customer has the right to have damaged products replaced for free in case of transport damage. To this end, however, the Customer is required to:

-        Sign the courier’s receipt, inserting the note "WITH RESERVE OF CHECK".

-        Immediately check the conditions of the packaging and if it has suffered any deterioration write the following note on the courier's receipt: "I sign with reserve - packaging damaged".

-        Make sure that the products in the packaging correspond to the order placed.

-        After the delivery, check the integrity of each individual product received (we recommend this is done within 24 hours).

-        Report any transport damage detected within 5 calendar days at the latest. Send your notification by email to info@flaminiahome.com indicating the order number and attaching photos of the damage observed.

If this procedure is not carried out as described above, insurance on the goods and free replacement will no longer be available. Notifications of transport damage by telephone or e-mail will not be accepted if they are not accompanied by photographs showing the damage.
At the time of delivery, the customer may reject the goods if the packaging is damaged or compromised, writing “I reject the goods due to damaged packaging” on the carrier's receipt. On the other hand, if the packaging is in perfect conditions and the customer refuses the goods, without just and proven cause, they will be charged a handling fee of €60. 

CUSTOMS
When the goods ordered are delivered outside Italy, the customer may be subject to import duties and taxes, payable once the products have reached their destination. 
Any additional customs clearance costs shall be borne by the Customer. We have no control over such costs and cannot predict the amount. Customs policies vary considerably from one country to another, so the Customer should contact the relevant customs office for further information. It should be noted that when the customer makes a purchase via a website, they are considered an importer and thus are required to comply with all the laws and regulations in force in the country in which they will receive the goods.
Lastly, our site complies with the regulations governing the processing of personal data and the protection of customer privacy, but in the case of shipments going to destinations outside Italy, the packaging may be opened and the products inspected by the customs authorities.
